Guys, I'm at work and I need to drag a cable under the ceiling. Only way to do it without wrecking the ceiling is to remove those lamps and do it through their mounting points. How to remove this?

If you wiggle it does it move at all? If so it will be held in with spring clips. Get a flathead driver underneath it and lever it down. When you can reach in you need to hold the clips in or you'll fuck the ceiling.

The paint might make it seem it's in there more solid than it really is. It's almost certainly spring clips, how else would they have gotten it in there?
