Any suggestions on how to mount a junkyard miata seat to this? My skills are lacking to say the least.

Jesus christ.

Take a pic of the bottom of the chair where the rolly base meets the actual seat. The Miata seat might end up high though, might be better off building a brand new base and leave the old gaymer chair intact.

If its a junkyard seat, pull the seat mounts with it

That was the plan. More so asking how to modify my monstrosity so that it will hold my weight and a seat. Do I just build a box and screw the seat in? Then attach said box to monstrosity with more 2x4s and screws?

Only reason I want to do this is because the chair rolls back when you press the pedals too aggressively. Will the whole thing start warping if I only attach at the bottom?

Im no engineer, but thats pretty much what I would do.

Remember to bring a propane torch and heat the fuck out of the seat bolts.

I'll do that then and report back
