5x5x6 camper on wheels ( that you push like a shopping cart or haul) made like a real house: stud walls, siding, roofing, drywall, well insulated, it would be cramped but it would work for me, being a short guy. I would also have a cabinet with some food, some camper propane tanks (the smaller ones) with the stove and space heater attachments for them. Something I could sustain myself and be comfortable in.

I want to make a hand-crank(or bike driven) generator that feeds into a high voltage battery, for emergency situations.

As an electronic technician I could make the circuit pretty easily, the problem would be getting a decent DC motor that doesn't have too much resistance and making a geared hand crank.
Oh and getting a yacht batter, or a few car batteries would be kind of expensive.

Second would be some self-suficient huge lag few miles underground, but it's also pretty far in the la-la-land (small area might be doable though).

He bought his own land for family use and started his own business doing cookery courses, documentaries and shit. I'm planning to stick to small-scale, max 3 polytunnels, goats for cheese, pigs for meat, chicks for eggs and meat. Wife would be working in academia, I'd be making revenue by app-programming and small-scale online poker.
A barn burnt down a couple days ago. Noone got hurt, they will have the roof rebuilt in a week's time.

I need to finish this project I started last year. It's currently buried under a few feet of snow but once that melts I'll be able to move it onto the deck I built for it after building a low wall to raise it up high enough to put a proper (non triangular) door in it. Eventually I want to replace the current roof with a geodesic dome made of clear UV resistant plastic and EMT tubing which should give me enough room for a small second floor loft. Also it'll look like either a giant mushroom or the biggest phalic sculpture on the block.

He is not really being truthful about how he lives, and what he does. When I watched the whole series in a course of one week, I caught on to some of his lies. He makes money of the series first, then he basically teaches his plan to others, not for free obviously. He laso networks like a motherfucker pushing himself into the village life. He also owns restaraunt(s) and other businesses. He was/is a chef, thus the fancy dishes he makes. At first I was stunned that life like this could be lived in this day and age. I mean, it is possible; however, his intentions were commercial not self sufficient. Then he got himself a bigger place, people to work for him, and he started doing functions, special dinners, and the said courses.

It is definitely possible, and even profitable. I wanted to do this, but then I decided to go back to school. Anyway, look up most profitable/expensive food and sell that at farmers market and online. Like rare meats, birds etc. They are not necessarily hard to raise, just not as popular. It would be a niche market, but all you would need are few restaurants in US to buy from you.

Blacksmithing set up. I reckon I'd have to see about getting at least an acre of land outside of a residential area and therefore outside of the city.

But I'm still young. I figure if I can get it done by 35 that wouldn't be so bad.

Also, an unnecessary concrete fallout shelter would be nice. That would go great with 1+ acre of land.

I saw one that was big and had a conventional house built inside it. It's pretty damn cool.

God only knows why they did a conventional roof instead of flat top roofs so you can enjoy the extra space.

Looking to purchase a large parcel of isolated land in the wilderness up state, build my own home, live completely separate from society.

I've spent at least 24 months designing all of the intricacies and planning everything from roof orientation to crop rotation, solar catchment, rain water catchment and usage calculations, a multi barrel manifold style auto watering system... I've actually amazed myself with some of the stuff I've come up with (that's not a boast, I just didn't think I was capable of it to be perfectly honest, I guess when you want something bad enough you just don't let anything beat you).

Basically I have about another 2 years of full time work ahead of me, to buy the land, all the materials I need, and completely shut myself off, I'll be debt free and there will be little to no trace left of me.

It's going to be heaven :)

PS. Looking for a physically fit, like minded individual to share in the adventure, I don't give a fuck about money, you can have zero and I don't mind, you just have to be serious, reliable, trustworthy and willing to work/share in the lifestyle... male or female I don't care... I don't want a fuck buddy, just someone to keep me company and share in the work load :)

no there isn't, I worked in a Bluebird factory building school buses and there's just a floor and maybe a 5 inch skirt that sticks around the perimeter of the bottom of the chassis

unless you live somewhere where the buses are weird
