What's the best/easiest/cheapest way to get gutters on a house?

I don't wanna break the bank but it's like a grand to buy ones for my house.

>> No.1401253

there isn't a cheap way to do it, unless you want to nigger rig it by bending 200 feet of aluminum flashing into a U shaped trough and fixing it to the edge of your roof.
it'll look like shit and cost you maybe $150.

>> No.1401254

Some gutter companies will run the gutter and sell the parts for a DIY. Don't use the plastic sections, looks like crap and leaks. You have a ladder, level and other related hand tools? Pretty easy, did it for a summer, find the balance point walk it up, set your height, drive a screw, set your pitch, attach clips screw them down. Punch the downspout hole then zip screw the downspout. Don't fall or electrocute yourself; sometimes it's easier to pay just make sure the contractor has insurance so when he falls it's all on him.

You don't need gutters. They are just there to stop water from falling off the edge and eroding the soil from around your house. Just dump some concrete around the perimeter of your house where the water comes off the roof and you're good.

You can buy aluminum gutter & downspout from home depot for like $1 a foot.

Gutters off a 50 year old house are probably less chinky than your plastic home depot shit.

dont live in US but maybe ask local sheet metal manufacturers and buy spouting from them. Also make sure existing spouting have enough fall to downpipes if not then you will have to increase fall.

Can confirm this is a dumb idea. I don't have gutters on my giant garage, and there is concrete around the back where water runs off. The concrete looks like it's been water boarded and there are clear and defined markings where the water drips. It ruins the concrete, albeit over decades not years.

Poor faggot. I bet you're too poor to have home insurance because if your gutters are fucked or don't even have gutters they wouldn't insure your dump.
