Watch Wood by Toth, he makes a ton of these

i have i just cant find the angles

(3.14 x radius )/ number of segments= mahor radius of each segment. (Length of block to cut)

(360/ number of segments )/2 = cut angles. ( angle to miter on previously cut block)

Glue up the segments into rings using titebond 3.
Glue rings together.

Let dry.

Turn.

Finsih.

Enjoy

retarded?
360 divided by the number of pieces you want.

Sketch out some profiles. It shouldn't be hard depending on the size/shape of the vase you could even do it 1:1.

What's keep all the pieces together? just the glue?

>> No.1181454

Why not just glue sticks of wood together to make a large block of wood then turn it as though it was a solid piece of wood?

Which it would have.

wrong dipshit
if you just glue a pile of sticks together and turn it the grain will be fucked and the squares oblong on the sides

>> No.1182030

>>1181985
Yes, and it would have that pattern on both sides, being symmetrical.

Wow those are really, r they difficult to make?

Why didn't you post that in the first place? Oh I get it, you're just trolling. Guess what, it still has radial symmetry, just on two points.
