How would /diy/ escape Cuba?

Rules

>your exodus is taking place between 1995 and 2017, so the wet foot dry foot policy is in place
>if you get caught in the middle of the ocean, you will be shipped back and put in some kind of camp
>if you make it to land, you will be given asylum to freedom land
>you are poor as fuck, which is why you're leaving
>you need to gather and assemble any materials without tipping off the secret police, who will arrest you and do the butt stuff

GO

I would make a secret shipping container bunker to secretly work on a shipping container boring machine to bore a tunnel with shipping container walls which would be welded and depressurized to allow a shipping container capsule to travel hundreds of miles per hour out of the island to an underwater shipping container base with a fleet of shipping container submarines which would transport me to my shipping container floating fortress/rocket pad from which I would take off with my shipping container rocket into orbit to avoid detection or interception and then plan my descent with my shipping container capsule into American soil.

Nobody will ever suspect anything, except maybe for the stream of shipping containers going into my property.

Not possible without years of training, and there's also a risk of death from jellyfish and sharks. You'd be much more likely to succeed with even the most basic raft.

I was thinking

>get a saw
>get a shed or a garage or something
>cut down some trees
>get some plywood
>nigger rig a mast, and some pontoons out of the trees
>nigger rig a rudder, daggerboard, and tiller out of the plywood
>watch the weather reports obsessively
>wait for a clear night with strong winds but low seas (wind doesn't exert very much force on a flat ocean, so it takes time for winds to build up waves)
>haul individual parts to the beach under cover of darkness and assemble before launching into the surf
>use the North star to ensure that you're aiming towards Florida

It's a little under 100 miles to Florida at the narrowest point, if you did eight knots and launched around the winter solstice, you could make it to land before the sun rose

70 miles to the keys.

Since im so cultured on spic.

Id just take a boat to Venezuela (they are allowed to travel there) from Venezuela a cargo ship to Puerto rico. Since it belongs to the united states anyway you are now in usa technically. And its easy to get a flight from PR to anywhere in the east coast states.

In retro spec I know this from living in florida and probably wouldn't know this living in cuba. So take it with a grain of salt.

I'd ride in a shipping container without a chute for faster drop into the LZ. The container will take the impact without heating up due to the naturally ablative heat shielding qualities of its corporate logo while transferring sufficient of its spiritual qualities to me that I'd not only land uninjured and unstartled, but engorged and ready for sex. When I air dropped into Japan using a container I immediately penis-melded with their internet and blacked (yes, am nugger) all waifu.

Get on a plane to Canada and walk across border. There is nothing stopping Cubans from leaving anymore. Why do you think they took away their instant green card away? Cubans love it there now, they are making a killing renting out their houses on air b and b. They have free economy now.

Oil drums.
Each one will float 550lbs.

I live alone. So just me going.

I would rig up a low water outrigger Polynesian style boat.

With a sinple electric trolling moter, to get me away , and a soith east asian inspired motorcycle outboard moter to get some speed once away from the island.

Run dark, paint the hull dark,
Launch when tides current and weather are best, on a moonless night

1m3 = 1000kg water
1m3 air = 1.24kg dry air

Differential density :
1000-1.24 = 998.76.

Pressure from air
101.5 kPa

Pressure from water (beneath)

101.5 + 1×9.81(1) = 111.31kpa

9.81 x 1 = 9.81 kN upward force.

Therfore...

You can load one (short) ton within the 1m^3 box.

Of course youll need a factor of safety, thankfully those only exist in develloped countries.

Also proper design for hullspeed (your craft will sink itself at speed).

Pic related, black and tan

People usually build boats using old car engines.

So that's a chance. You could probably build one easily and escape at night with a couple of mates. Would build it with wood and floaters made of oil barrels.
You only need a compass and some luck so the weather doesn't fuck you up.

smart i like your use of shipping containers pretty ingenious as they will also deflect any unwanted harmful magnetic signals so you could be unable to be found by any UAV or satellite
