I didn't say that. My grandfather built his own home because he had bought a carpentry book from Sears and (more importantly) adhered to the things listed in the "best practices" and "construction standards" (ie not drilling pipes through supporting beams) section.

Building a home isn't easy but it can be done if you're not a retard. However, notice how most people are retards.

That's my aunt's house. She died some years ago and left it to her children.
When she lived there it was two or three bedrooms (can't really remember) and one bath.
It says Benton but the zip is for Bauxite. I'll ask her grand-daughter about it. She works for the Bauxite Post Office.

Personally, I would recommend buying a cheap plot of land and building a pole barn on it. Buy a shity camper and "store" it in your pole barn. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than the house is the OP, and significantly less stupid than this idea.

My 23ton excavator was 6500€. And it's very good to have something like that on a build site. And it diagram a hole like that in no time. Machine can be sold for the same amount when you are finished.

I was thinking, buy land, dig big hole home, get cinder blocks, line outside of hole with cinder blocks upwards to 6', line blocks with wood and insulation, done.
