I feel really bad right now about my trade. I'm a 3rd year electrician and I can't get ahead. I see people with less experience than me that get way more responsibilities and attention from the older guys. I always keep a good attitude and listen really well. I feel like I'm pretty good even though I fuck up sometimes. It feels hopeless and everyone makes me feel worse about my skills, especially the general foreman. He talks shit about me to everyone and every time I come on a job I already have a reputation because he calls me slow and unenthusiastic. I am not slow, or at least I don't think so, I keep pace with the other guys. I also have no idea what he means when he says I enthusiastic. I follow all orders, ask tons of questions, and I'm willing ing to try anything. Idk. I'm just super depressed about it and even though I feel like I'm improving I just get sent places to rough or trim plugs and lights, I never get any real cool responsibilities. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong here
