Hello /diy/

When winter breaks next year, I'm planning to go up north in Canada and do a Mccandleless/Proenneke/Stroud and live in the wilderness, maybe having a bush pilot coming up every so often (every 2 months or so) and bring supplies and what not

I've been looking every where on the internet, for a guide to survive and live but the only ones I can find are short term/couple days, I need a guide for simple farming, simple yet good cooking with pans, how to harvest an animal and keep is fresh in the summer,

I hope to have a little cabin with a wood stove, bed and a few other things, I was thinking maybe a couple solar panels for some power, Can solar panels do well in the forest? Like, are they delicate? I need something tough,

I know this is muddled but here are the basic question

-Simple farming
-Solar panels
-Cooking
-Harvesting and making use of an animal

/k/ Has some rifles for me,

So does anyone know where I can get guides or helpful hints? I want to basically live like native with a few bonuses

Thanks!

Dick Proenneke, king of DIY. Who else wants to be like him?
Also, post any related DIY articles that can help you survive alone in the wilderness.

Dick Proenneke.
Alone in the Wilderness. Who has seen it? This man will make your work ethic look like shit. Anyways, I'd like to someday build a log cabin. And I want to use the surrounding resources with no power tools. Does anyone know of any guides that can help me with that sort of thing? I know nothing about woodworking, but I REALLY want a log cabin of my own.
