This thread got me thinking about how I would do it.

I think the key is accessibility. Being able to easily get to the hardware and connect shit to it. Also try to streamline it as much as possible. Both to keep the ergonomic part of the desk (a thick desk is not ergonomic) and to keep it light.

And if you have a tray system you could be able to easily remove the computer altogether. Maybe even make is so you don't need to move the desk if you want to got to a LAN-party or some shit, but just take the PC tray out and bring it with you.
