chances are that every building will experience at least one flooding in 30 years so your materials simply HAVE to withstand water. OSB is structurally compromised when wet, unlike wooden beams.

I assume CLT/glulam might experience the same problems with water/head since its also mostly glue based but were yet to see how well did krauts designed it.

Water cant do shit to wood if designed smart with drying out it mind, but OSB has more glue in it than actually wood, not to mentioned, OSB has nor continual GRAIN in it which makes the strenght in wood.
