I think a beefier heatsink would be better, since xeons are known to be power hungry and can run a little hot. Pic related is a hyper 212 style that should give you adequate performance. You'll want to get the 4-pin fan version so your computer can change the fan speed based on temperature so it's not running full speed all the time.

I hope you got standoffs to mount the motherboard.
