Charge your cousin $200 for doing his brakes which would be $1000 at the shop, and get down on a few of these tools to make life easier in the future.

Flex head 3/8” ratchet with a little bit longer handle is a good start. Learning to use a multimeter is a gamechanger too. And being able to pull apart the top of engines in 1/3 the time with an impact driver is quite nice.
