It's not as cool as an ACTUAL pipboy, but it was inspired by it. Basically just a leather bracer with an external rechargeable power supply for my phone. Pic related!

The port on the inside is angled down; the airflow is not noticeable. (At least, not with the fan on low... I'll hook it up to full power later today and make sure it's not annoying.)

I wanted it on the front because the vents are on the back; wanna keep the air from stagnating in the box.

That's gonna require some serious engineering but I am up for the challenge.

That's gonna be a chunk of change, so I'm going to go ahead and finish the rest of the box before I invest in the motors so I can devote all my funds/energy to making those work. Cheers!

Maybe I'll snap a few pics of my workshop later. I actually just cleaned up and reorganized so it's lookin pretty nice.

I don't post here all that often; just the pipboy/car/couple small questions about the mech project, and now the mech itself.
