I'm hooking up a greenseeker reader on a quadcopter because my old man can't really walk around anymore and I got a full time job and I can't help him as much as I'd like to with his crops.

I am planning on using this brushless rotor
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__18225__Turnigy_D3530_14_1100KV_Brushless_Outrunner_Motor.html

and I have no idea of what prop/battery size is the adequate one to keep it hovering for at least 30 minutes or cover at least 1 acre of land...

I have access to a CNC and can machine the frame outta wood or plastic, and the trigger mechanism (planning on using a servo to trigger it and somehow rig it into the kk2 chip to activate the sensor) but other than that, I'm clueless about what I need to do

Thanks for any advice guys!
Pic related: The frame I'm planning to use. (after a few modifications, I don't like the looks of the landing struts)
