why do americans build their houses out of deep fried double cheeseburger?

I admire their patriotism, but cheeseburger isnt a very good building material.

You do agree that less mainintence is better than more? Why not build out of brick? Less labout intensive than the OSB house, more durable. Sure, land, whatever, keep the land and flip the land, but why pay for major mainintence of a crappy house in the meantime? Any what if your goal is not to flip?

Indeed, Tyvek doesnt allow water to GET OUT, every barrier eventually leaks so an intelligent solution is to have a backup plan of drying out like even the most basic log house has.

Pic rel is with tyvek crap, it probably made problems worse since walls couldnt dry themselves.
