they look nice, and I don't think I've ever owned anything made in Germany so I'd like to try them out.

Speaking of decent tools, and being as how you are the student of all things tool related, why does the chrome plating on my Klein screwdriver stop near the tip and then turn into a black finish that wears off after a few uses? The tip is still fine as far as I can tell, it's just that black coating that doesn't make sense to me.
