Always wear googles + face shield. One without the other is still pretty dangerous. Shit can bounce off your chest and still get up under your face shield to your eyes. I've had that happen while weed eating. And, of course goggles can't help the rest of your face from anything.

Just had an angle grinder disk explode on me an hour ago, holy fuck! I've heard the stories before but never thought it'd happen to me until now. Two pieces hit me, one in my right hand and the most painful in my chest. No serious injuries thankfully but fuck this must've been what it feels like getting shot because the pain was overwhelming enough to leave me writhing in pain for a minute. I don't even want to imagine what would've happen if it hit my face or eyes instead. Don't fuck with angle grinders guys, it could happen to you too! My chest still fucking hurts and my right hand is still bleeding bad so looks like I'm going to be unable to do any more work for the next several days.

Can you make threaded holes for screws to go in and out like prebuilt stuff has? If yes, how? Either in wood, plastic and/or metal.

Shit yes. Wear thick clothing and face shield + full goggles. Yes, you need both face shield and goggles. A shattering disc is no fucking joke:

And, if you use angle grinders long enough, one WILL shatter on you, it is just how it is. Remember to let the disc spin for 30-60 seconds before using it. If it will shatter because of a defect, it will do it in that amount of time. After that, it is more about how you are using it than anything else.
