Unrelated, but Just wanted to mention, that I was working on some wood, when gf entered garage/workshop. Inquired what I was making (trash can for office). Was planing some wood. Gf stands behind me and we plane together like the clay scene in ghost. Then she reached into my pants and get me all horned up. We ended up sexing on the workbench- right on top of the wood shavings.

Don't neglect your wife and gf especially during this pandemic. You might even be able to make some indentured shop helpers.

I grew up poor, and had to fix things to keep them working. One time I found a bike near the dumpster. I took it apart to overhaul it, and the bike rode like crazy good.

So out of necessity, initially, now for the sheer pleasure.

LN is great, but you can get a stalney hand plane and restore it for around 60 dollars.

The funny thing is, once you get one plane, they somehow reproduce cause now I have like 10 of them that I picked up from garage sales along the way.
