Hello /diy/,

Recently my Grandmum passed and one of the things left to me was the Grandfather clock my mother had built my Grandparents. It doesn't work but I'd like to fix it up, however to do that I first need to have it shipped to where I live.

My Grandfather in his wisdom decided to glue the head of the clock to the body so it wouldn't fall down. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but in the clock's assembled state I can't use any shippers.

Is there any way to dissolve already set wood glue so the pieces can come apart?
