If you think those are good, try the Irwins! The Knipex can barely even hold your stepsister without your mom’s boyfriend helping hold her!

The v-jaws work bretty gud on shit where you don’t care enough to get a full wrench or socket set out. Air hoses and garden hoses for me, they bite into the brass fittings real well. And the v-jaws are good on round things as well, better than the flat jaws that only clamp down on two small spots of a round object.

Damn that’s rugged. I haven’t beat mine up that bad, but I also almost always grab the Knipex ovet the Irwins.

I still say the 2pk of Irwins for $15 at Lowe’s was good for a DIYer who is sick of mangling shit with straight jaw channellocks.

I want to grab some of the Doyles from HF just for shits and see what they’re like. If they’re at least as good as the Milwaukees, might be a good buy for that rare time the weekender needs a 16” set of channellocks.

This are the best value.

The Knipex feel better though. Considering your pic can be bought for $15 and two Knipex of the same size would be $60, I recommend people try the Irwins first.

I bought Knipex before I ever got the Irwins. I shill for the Irwins for poorfags (or at least anons curious to try something other than flat jaw channellocks without spending the $$$) saying the $15 2pk of GrooveLocks is bretty gud for the price, and the $20 Irwin Pliers Wrench works despite not costing $50 like the Knipex.

It’s a shame Knipex can’t hold up to a full grown adult.

I mean they’re ugly as sin, even worse than the ugly Knipex. But as my Knipex are not coated in semen from some strange erotic fantasy for expensive German tools, I can’t quite follow you on the “feels”. Whatever visual things you want to nitpick at, there’s isn’t anything that really constitutes the price difference. Give them to some Ethiopian who has never been on the ToolGuyd fanpage on Reddit and he will struggle to tell you which it better.

The Kobalt ones though, they feel cheap with their stamped metal parts.

Kek. If it’s worth it to make monthly payments to the tool truck for that Snap On ratchet because that extra 10% is worth paying 5x the price so you can get your job done faster, you do you. The average /diy/er probably won’t ever take advantage of that extra 10%.

Meanwhile those Germans gotta figure out why their tool can’t even support the weight of a child unassisted while the trusty 2 for $15 Irwins are holding up a manlet with no issue.

And I’ll keep telling people to grab a Gearwrench for $20 when I see them using a dollar bin round head ratchet because they thought the only other option was a Snappy.
