the dewalt was a compound 10". The metabo was a 12" slider with the side mount guides. like pic related but plug in. footprint was almost the same as the dewalt but way more cut capacity. this is a big deal to me as i have a really small workshop. i think metabo was retiring this design so i got over 60% off. sold my dewalt for almost as much. it was worth it.
