made my own cloth covered wire.

18 gauge wire was like $.30 a foot
cloth sheathing was $.20 a foot
rubber plug was $.75 (there are cooler plugs but this was the best with 90 degree angle in it, which i wanted for this)
total: $3.75 for 6 foot power cable with plug
