You don't want burlap. Its a very loose weave and it is not mean to be in any way durable. Dirt and water pass right through it and once its starts to tear or unravel its basically time to toss it. Its also doesn't have any kind of preservative properties so if you get it wet will mildew is a heartbeat or start to rot. Its also rough as shit and scratchy.

Hemp is just a material, like wool or cotton, and a rather expensive one at that (in the US at least, cause you can't grow the stuff here and it has to be imported). Its bullshit, sure, but thems the facts. So you're not gonna see it on many sacks unless they are also imported. On top of that, plastic fabric has replaced quite a lot of these older materials for the kind of cheap, hipster bags your looking for. Its mostly made from recycled shit so its cheap, its more durable and it doesn't mildew and rot near as easy when it gets wet.

As for the logos staying put, HAHAHAHA good luck. The whole reason they use the shit they use is cause its CHEAP. They use the cheapest inks they can get their hands on and apply them in the shoddiest way possible. Its not sealed or protected in any way. Hell, leave it in the sun for long enough and that will fade it right out.

End result, you're better off making imitation packing sacks for your little hipster enterprise bro. The real deal will be vastly inferior is looks, durability and comfort.
