What color should I go for the hardware for this old drafting table I bought? The hardware was brittle and rusty, and so I want to replace them. As you can see, I bought brass screws, and painted the winguts + washers + bolts with a brass-like spray paint.

however, I'm thinking it looks... not that great. What would be a better option? Black? Silver? Go forward with the brass?
