When I was like 16 I broke 2 of my teeth in the middle down to little stubs. Doctor tells me they are infected and I have to get 1,000 dollars per tooth for an oral surgeon to cut them out of my gums.

12 years later still alive. No infection and no pain in my mouth. However I started brushing my teeth and gums when I found out they were infected. That might have also helped make them more soft not sure. Not a scientist just some dumb ass kid with poor parents.
