Also, massive RF-transmitters operating in the microwave band generally use a klystron or a magnetron (like in MW ovens) and those are fine-tuned on a very specific frequency.

Batteries may be worth salvaging as they are of the "serviceable" kind, i.e you may add acid and/or distilled water if they dead ; or regenerate them like old-fashion car batteries.

But to be honest I will give this whole set to a nearby ham : if you are into hifi music, ask about exchanging it with a set of nice tubes + trannies to build a tube amp.
Hams tend to stock/farm/hoard tubes in a very compulsive manner, and such porn material might be worth a nice sound system...
