Oh yeah, open frame generators are loud (~90dB at the exhaust). You might want an enclosure near your house to run it in so you can sleep at night, LOL. Especially if you want to see it not stolen/broken in the morning.

For all the interfaces listed here >>1931344, usually MCU to MCU communication will be I2C and SPI. I2S is for audio and CAN is differential mode for when you don't have a common ground (you'll need a transceiver IC). All the other I/Fs, you probably won't be able to write drivers for easily. From what this guy is saying >>1931838, it sounds like the Jetson runs Linux (RPi knockoff) and you're trying to link it like this: Teensy <==> Jetson (Linux) <==> PC. And he also says the Jetson's UART is linked to PC. I know Linux only supports master mode on SPI and I assume the same applies to I2C. Do you really need the Jetson? I'd just link the Teensy to the PC via UART/RS-232/USB-adapter and then program on the PC. I don't care enough to read schematics and datasheets for you. Good luck man.

>I noticed the radio itself has a fuse
That fuse is for shorts inside the radio, not on the wire harness. If you want to check whether your radio is working, you can power red/yellow on 12 volts, and black on ground (-). It should power on normally but you'll need to check which wire is antenna to test the radio. Honestly, though, don't bother. Just buy a new head unit and swap it out if it bothers you.
>No, it had a hard time locating the the different stations, I had to do it manually. As soon as I turned it off it was gone again.
A lot of things can be wrong inside the radio or even the antenna (most are amplified and require power nowadays). Judging on this thread, it seems out of your skill range to diagnose and fix on your own. You can get a new head unit with bluetooth for about $80 and an adapter for the connector for $5-10 more. You already know how to pull the radio and dick with the wire harness so you're 80% of the way there.
