Other than murder, what can I do to stop my neighbour from being an asshole?

I have a semi-crummy yard from working very long hours (self-employed) and have been trying to clean it up lately.

I put in a patio at considerable expense (did the work myself, but wood and concrete are not free)

So I also put in a fire pit. I was having a fire and cooking some marshmallows and the neighbour comes over and starts telling me to put out the damn fire because it will "start his house on fire" I told him to go away before I lost my patience.

Anyway I do not want to deal with his dickhole behaviour anymore. Other than murder what are my options. I am thinking a higher fence (but it is six feet already) Any other ideas? I told him to piss off already.
