Replace with cable ties, skip any kind of tape. Over time it will undo and leave sticky munge all over the cables. Thread through and bundle it all up in some large diameter heat shrink for flawless victory.

Out of interest (dude who wanted to buy your spare SFX card here) where did you source your parts? You have a hell of an inventory there, is this stuff you have held onto over the years or have you been trawling eBay etc?

If you come around, OP, and this means anything to you:
I am a manager at a grocery store(not walmart). We have, appox. 35 employees total. Of those, four have pot charges, one has a murder charge, and one person is legally retarded. Of the entire list of employees, the one I'd trust most not to fuck things up while I'm gone is the convicted murderer. Partly because he's the 2nd oldest employee, age wise, with the retard being the oldest, and partly because he's so damn efficient at his job that he's getting a promotion next month to supervisor. I know what you're thinking "its a shit, low paying job" but I'm hoping that he moves on soon, yet I know he won't: He's mentally fucked. He can not go to the bathroom without asking permission first. I still don't know how to fix it other than hoping he gets through it.

Also have you tried to volunteer at a church? Even if you're atheist/agnostic/not their belief, you can always use the sermon time to meditate and think of other stuff.
