I spent $5200 taking my Econoline from box to camper.

I actually use it to camp and it works really well. If you want to live cheaply, you might as well rent a mobile home slot and buy a $500 camper.

I added the topper and creature comforts, but it’s just not quite big enough to live in. I could like in a slightly bigger space like a box truck or something but vans are just a hair too small. And mine is a club wagon (extra long) not just the standard length.

And electricity is life so unless you’re running the engine or a generator non stop, you have an issue.

I finally finished the interior and took her out on her maiden voyage.

The heat/AC works well and the toilet is a godsend for the middle of the night.
