>they fuck nuts up too
Again, they dont fuck nuts up under normal circumstances.
Their contact point is further back on the flank of a fastener just like a boxed end. Thats the whole point, but you arent sitting here complaining about box ends ripping up fasteners are you?
If you are under heavy load marring a nut with them, you would have absolutely rounded it with a standard open end.

>>2496693
I love how straightforward this video is, yet it still went way over your head.
>did you know that intentionally tightening a fastener to the point of failure.. it will... destroy a nut!
Go on and show me the same video with a standard open wrench where they pull to the point of failure and slipping the corner of the fastener, and it doesnt damage the bolt.

You didnt buy flanked wrenches that have contact points on the flank, you bought cheap amazon private label garbage that has a standard open end with teeth that bite your corners.
It figures someone as retarded as you couldnt understand the video you posted either.

>Does anyone else absolutely loathe the so-called "maker movement" and its associated "creators" and grifts?

Im going to stop reading right here and answer you, because I know your blogpost will be nothing but drivel.

People bitch and complain that millenials dont know how to work on anything.
People bitch and complain that zoomers dont know how to work on anything.

Millenials and zoomers start tinkering and doing /diy/ work, give it a dumb name/label.
So now your response is to bitch and complain that millenials and zoomers are actually building and tinkering with things?

Nah, kill yourself OP
You are just a retard who likes to bitch and whine like a huge faggot.
For every cherry picked youtube example you can find to get triggered at, its still a net positive as its getting kids out and building shit.
They will blissfully build things and eventually realize the label "maker" is stupid and drop it, while you sit and seethe that kids are being kids, and that people make youtube channels directed towards kids.

Point to me on the doll where KipKay touched you

>Did masks stop the corona? Nope.
They did in places where they followed protocols like japan (which eventually still succumbed to the virus due to the rest of the world like streetshitters and africaniggers incubating it in the streets)
All you have to do is look >>2434326
>every mask faggot I know did nothing other than wear a mask

How surprising that when one of several protocols are implemented, then people half ass or straight up ignore them, that it doesnt work.
Real astute talking point youve got there
>nobody followed the protocols so they didnt work!
>therefore I shouldnt follow any protocols ever, even when doing dangerous manual labor work!

I look forward to you and your peers who demonize PPE being the guy in his 40 walking out of Tractor Supply, using the Mart Kart with a permanent limp.

>Point is that it's not some obscure idea
The vast majority of the consumer populace has never even heard of a synth.
Unless you are very into them, you wouldnt have thought about making them, let alone trying to produce and sell them.

>but that anon has obviously been able to figure it out
IE all the proof you need to knock off and undercut his naive and retarded ass.
I have not thought about synthesizers in over a decade, back when I helped build an enclosure for my brother who bought Roger Arick synthesizer modules.

Im telling you right now that I have every machine and the means to build the PCBs and face plates to build and populate a synthesizer module in my shop this very second.
If I truly thought it was something with staying power and my current projects were starting to wane, you can bet your ass I would be researching it. I spend a lot of time on Etsy and other marketplaces in general looking towards new opportunities.

Now that I think about it, im guessing this is the guy who made the thread about getting a basic CNC to drill his circuit boards, and was worried about the runout.
IE I know this guy doesnt even have the capability or skills to be pumping these out quickly or easily.

If Anon keeps stroking his ego and bragging everywhere, he will quickly realize how cutthroat things really are.

>mfw this whole post
So you are worried about some people being autistic "internet detectives" while simultaneously sitting and claiming im some random dude shitting on bepis over a year ago?

The guy in the acrylic thread is literally bumping it every day or two, with youtube screenshots all with identical filenames. The thread is dead except for his screenshots and people whining about the screenshots.

It doesnt take an "internet detective" to figure that out. It does take one to look for people from over a year ago you fucking faggot.

>Anon, I bought a house out of college and I'm making $80k. I'm not poor just not retarded lol

Not a single person believes this, and if it IS true, its exceedingly sad on your part.

>One is giving you value, other is just wasting your time literally worthless.
Again, we see how "value" in your eyes is only petty amounts of cash. You know who obsesses over petty amounts of cash?
NEETS and the poverty stricken, because when you dont have it money controls every second of your life.

The reality is, OP buying a quality router with a plunge router base new in the box isnt going to decide whether or not he eats tonight. He doesnt have to scrounge around like a rat to find something cheap so that he gets his router and his groceries.

Stupid ideas get called out for what they are.
This is something that OP will not be able to pull off, it will waste a ton of time and the money he throws away will be enough to have bought him several quality welding hoods.

Stop being a faggot, stop trying to do dumb shit.

>I think he should get a pass when he's up front about wading in unfamiliar waters.
So you are giving the man a pass when he couldnt even be bothered to do basic research on what he is making a video about?
>Oftentimes his thought process reveals extensive and deep knowledge about certain topics and he tries to translate that to the task at hand.
So you mean, he is human and is using basic critical thinking and problem solving skills?
>(he's a PhD)
Wrong, he has never once said this. Only retards who put him on a pedestal as some sort of authority assumed that he was. Ironically its the same people who are finally realizing that he bullshits most of the stuff he says.
He has the gift of gab, thats about it.

>lots of people get Gell-Mann Amnesia when they watch AVE
>they blast him in the comment section and he concedes the point
>somehow the second he goes into another subject they forget all about that and believe they are watching greatness

He's the Michael from Vsauce of the /diy/ community, except he does a lot less research and pumps out a lot more half baked videos.
