I was watching Mousetrap Mondays on Youtube and was really fascinated by the nonlethal traps that can catch several mice without needing to be reset.

It got me to thinking how you could design a trap like that for human beings, given the higher difficulty of designing something that human intelligence would still be fooled by.

This is what I came up with. It's a decoy porta-potty for placement a little ways off hiking trails so people are likely to find it, and be in a situation where they need to use it.

Once it detects their weight on the toilet seat, it abruptly swings down out of the way. They fall through into a chamber full of oil or other lubricant which makes them too slippery to climb out. There's also a noise canceling sliding door that closes above them so they can't shout warnings to other people who enter.
