I don't understand what a 9:1 transformer would be good for in this case. The art of the 'random' wire antenna is to find out which lengths to _avoid_ because they are mutiples of lambda/2 and therefore hi-Z.

The shortest length for group c is about 35ft, for group d it is ~70ft and the shortest length for group e is ~135ft. Group f cannot be realised with a single wire.

The bevaviour of a group of parallel wires cannot be predicted that way because they are coupled and interact. Fiddle and error is all that remains. Good luck.
