i was considering seasonic, but seems like they are not all perfect either. i'll keep an eye on the secondary market and see if i can get a decent deal on a platinum/titanium seasonic for curiosity's sake but the AX860i is already way better than my HX750 which made higher pitched chirping noises like morse code. the AX860i even without surrounding chassis panels or acoustic foam is no louder than my computer monitor but i'd like to cut it down if possible.
