Hello DIY! Let's talk about a fun idea.

I dream of having a mobile house (that's one manufactured by tumbleweed right there on the picture)
But as cuddly and well made as they seem, I would still love a bigger space and I thought...
Why would mobile mean small? What if I could build a mobile house in 2 separate parts that can be assembled at destination? (Imagine a regular house cut in half both parts lugged on a trailer ready to be re-assembled)

I am by no means an expert, just a dreamer, but a determined dreamer. I suppose there are many challenges involved in this, but as a non engineer, the primary question that comes to mind is : What would be the optimal way to interlock the two parts together without compromising the insulation?

Tell me I'm not just a dreamer and help me find the ressources to make this concept reality! Roam all the forums! Ideas?

Maybe it's been done already... but I've never seen something like if it's the case
