I built this magnificent beast. It is made to hook up to a projector and sit on a coffee table. Mediocre computer inside, can play most emulators full speed.

I built my first one about three years ago. I decided to make something smaller like this. It has a full computer inside and a hookup for power and HDMI that goes straight into a receiver and to a projector.

It uses 1/2" MDF, and is heavy as fuck. I wanted it to be light and super portable, but it is still heavy as fuck. So your huge cabinet will be as heavy as fuck + as heavy as balls.

Op, Op, Op. Listen here.

Pic related: it's what I built using a $15 drill shitty and a $17 shitty jigsaw from Walmart, the cheapest power tools you could possibly get. You can do a LOT with shitty tools and ZERO experience if you just take the time and are willing to learn. You are cheating yourself out of a huge experience if you buy a premade cabinet and X-arcade controls. We bought enough materials to make two of these for four player action, and the total price of everything was about $450, including a $100 trackball, so yours can be $300 - $350.

It's a MAME small cabinet that houses a computer and controls with an HDMI out that plugs right into a receiver, that connects to a projector. Street Fighter 2 characters that are ten feet tall? Yes, please. Fuck authenticity.

Will post more pics and talk about the design if interested.

I built this MAME tabletop unit. It has an HDMI plate on the back and we connect it straight to the receiver and play Street Fighter 2 with fighters that are ten feet tall. Fuck authenticity.

First-time builder of anything and it turned out pretty well. Will post more pics of design if interested.

MAME arcade machine that has a computer inside and HDMI's the picture and sound to a projector. Ever play Street Fighter 2 when your guys are 12 feet tall? It's awesome.

Will post more pics of insides and details if interested.
