It has a kill switch ,2 of them kinda. Its supposed to have a deadman switch on my control pendant.You hold on to the button while it is in teach mode (aka manual moving mode). If the button is released the robot stops. its for like, if the robot hits me once, it wont continue to kill me. the button is fake on mine.

a force sensor does seem like a good idea, I will need to add something of that nature to the design file.
Im also thinking like
Vibrating motor
Auto lube pump, I have a MASTERFLEX peristaltic pump for liquids, that would be perfect for it
