my axis4, (the one that rotates the forearm) origin is off position from the position written on the inside of the controller cabinet. or i typed it in wrong. i noticed it today when i was trying to make it move in a fucking straight line and it keeps moving the saw in a diagonal. the problem i have with that is, the witness marks are fucking stickers. not even great stickers .this thing is 20 years old how the fuck do you think stickers are gonna hold up in an industrial welding condition? the stickers that tell me what lube to use on the robot? those stickers are fucking top tier. "USE ONLY $$$$ GREASE" those are like a fucking metal plate. but the axis origin stickers? some kind of resin /polyester ribbon affair that several have peeled off. the one i need is still there though. I think im going to engrave them in with a dremel so i dont have to worry about these fucking stickers.
