Hi diy, I'm trying to get a hold of the bitcoin concept, looking into faucets and such. But I want to earn some bitcoin (reasonably), any tips on how to make some scratch.

If it's still possible to mine some stupid small amount of bitcoin, still I'd be intrigued. Or possible easy jobs

Current is detected by the effect it has on the 10K resistor. The effect is that a voltage is "dropped" across it.

You need Ohms law.
Voltage (V)= electrical pressure (similar to water pressure)
Current (I)= actual electron flow
Resistance (R)= opposition to electron flow.

How these 3 things are related is defined by ohms law.
V = I*R
which can be rearranged to:
I = V/R
or
R = V/I
