I have multiple sets of USA made Craftsman tools, as well as a Chinese made Craftsman 300 piece tool set.
After having owned them all and used them for a few years now, I'd have to say I cant tell the difference other than the stamping saying either China or USA
Of course I prefer the USA ones just because, but the China made ones aren't bad at all for backyard casual mechanic

I keep an eye on amazon and Ebay and sometimes get a decent price on one of the NOS USA sets
