Get a blue collar job, learn a trade or a skill, go to your nearest metal working factory and ask for a job, stop being a nigger

>Where do I get old style wire wrapping pins? sockets?
look up header pins. square variety. often come mounted in strips.
i work in a factory that does a metric fuckton of wire wrapping. sometimes we wrap directly to the component, which usually come with pins made for wire wrapping. but you can just make them from any metal offcuts that will fit in your wire wrap tool.

no no no no no, you want the RECEPTACLES for pogo pins. not the pins themselves, the "pogo pins" are interchangeable probes. no direct connection is ever made to the probe.
funny you should mention this, by sheer coincidence, it's what we work with and wire wrap to in the above mentioned factory i work in.

Just interested to see what trades people work in? as this is the only board where the anons actually have jobs.

Mine is; assembly technician and health and safety overseer. I work in a workshop building machines for the electronics industry, involving machining and lots of hand tool work.

this thread sounds stupid but as someone who used to take apart washing machines for a living, (i say living, i made fucking nothing and wasted my time) i can tell you there's acctually some dangers.
The drum is suspended in the middle and has very heavy concrete blocks bolted to it. if you disassemble wrong it will come crashing down.
it's usually suspended by four springs hooked on to the top/sides of the machine, unhook these and keep your fingers at a safe distance.
at the bottom the drum/weights are connected by shock absorber pistons, sometimes these go pop. take care with them.
beware of charged large capacitors in the power supply.
sometimes the concrete weights can be taken off before disassembly. (the one in your pic can, i see the retaining bolts)
sometimes there's one just sitting in the bottom of the machine aswell.
you are now good to go. be careful and don't get any body parts under anything heavy.

i've seen this shit before as well, once came to rewire a light, standard socket, nothing difficult, accessed through attic, textbook ... but multiple different coloured wires were connected to the same point on this light socket including earth, live and neutral colourations from 3 different standards.
i also love it when people use yellow/green earth wires for power in the same socket in which other yellow/green earth wires are acctually used for earthing.
