I always wanted to grow some plants myself and since Spring is around the corner I started to look at what I'd need.

However, I got a cool idea to try growing a few plants separately indoors. I'll take an empty computer case and install a florescent at the top with the plants at the bottom.

I've never done any growing, especially indoors so I have no idea what kind of lightbulbs I'm looking for and how close they have to be to the plants. I'm thinking of growing something simple at the start: peas, herbs, maybe tomatos.

Any advice? Thanks!
