>Job
Aircraft Electrician

>How long have you been doing it? What stage are you at?
2.5 years, Level 2.

>Wake up
0545.

>Morning Routine
Strenuous exercise until 0730.

>Commute
Live close by, probably around 20-30min drive on average.

>Work arrival time
0900 work begin at aircraft hangar.

>Work doings
Prepare mind and self for around an hour or two until actual work orders for the day arrive. Once they arrive, are distributed to all the workers by skill levels and or availability. Begin on the work order given right away with the prepared tools. Try to finish the work order before day end at around 1730.

>Lunch? Breaks? Peers? Smoking? Rituals?
Smoke break whenever I can due to the stress/high level of expertise related to wiring flying machines so they don't end up a ball of fire 10,000 feet in the air and kill people. Lunch is around 1130 to 1300 so you don't stress out and kill people.

>leave time?
Leave time around 1730, later if you suck at your work order and have to continue doing the work. You never really leave stuff undone because the aircraft may need fly/be moved. If you cannot properly do your repairs/retrofits/maintenance work order, you try to revert it to how you found it before you started which sucks.

>Work Life Balance?
After work, you don't really have to worry much about it. I get weekends off to do whatever I please as well and get adequate leave. They try not to overwork or stress us due to the nature of our craft.

>Annual Pay?
Quite low in this area of the USA. Around $55,000 annual for entry-level. I am Level 2 and may get a raise if I increase my skills/certifications/expertise.

>Vacation?
Ample vacation days. A month or two if I don't use them. Which never happens because I always go boujie and go somewhere far.
