hi /diy/nosaurs,
a friend of mine has been really kind to me, lending me his old electic guitar for let me learn to play. it's a old ibanez rg, it was originally light blue but he didn't like it, so he scratched it to the wood, but he doesn't like it much even like that.

i would make him a surprise repainting his guitar, now a couple of questions:
wich kind of paint should i use?
any idea on the design (just one color, a stencil, something like that?)? i can use airbrush decently but i don't want to make something kitsch like flames or skull. something really classic and classy (he likes to play stuff like bob dylan or
eric clapton, extreme or queen, so no metal style themes)
