These three pieces of information are simple and easy to understand, but VERY difficult to abide by.
You WILL get stuck on a 5 minute chart and get carried away in the heat of the moment and not even realize you're fighting against a market reversal, or a lunch fade, or even an institution. You may be tempted to cancel your stop loss, but you may as well just blow your money on crack, it'll feel better.

I was unsuccessful at hobby trading. I realize that I'm going to have to do some things different and mature a little more before I consider doing it again. All I do now, is buy and hold/swing trading as a long term managed growth strategy, with a HEAVY emphasis on buffering loss with dividends. OP, I would strongly recommend having at least 30% non-margin holdings in long term positions, as an extra buffer to your main account, so you can weather the Volatility storms.

I currently hold GGN, and when I get $2500, I'm going to invest in PONDX mutual fund. I am also watching GNI, GDX, SGOL and the direction of oil.

Good sites for radio projects?
If anyone could help with ham transreceiver schematics or block diagrams ready for assembly with parts kit it would be cool. Just looking to make a writeup on something that is neither too large scale nor too simple.
