I bought this house that used to belong to my family and the previous occupants painted over all the nice dark wood that used to be there without even priming it or taping or anything. Then they moved out 3 weeks later. I'm working on peeling it off but I'll probably have to take the door down to sand and stain it outside lying horizontal at some point. Not to mention the trim.
