Yeah, but you should watch some of the nerd teardowns because there are plenty of chink meters that are rated quite high until you actually look at the board. Also the fuse thing, some of the cheap meters don’t have fuses and you can fry it real fast with one little mistake.

I’m with you though, a few reasonably priced meters aint a bad idea. My $7 clearance Walmart meter is always on my workbench and works great for random crap, and I trust the Klein and the Southwire despite them both being <$100. Thinking about grabbing that babby Uni-T DC clamp for $50 one of these days becsuse the Southwire clamp isn’t the best for low DC current.
