it's pretty common in home audio setups. You got the audio guys who sperg out and spend hundreds to tape rocks to their RCA connections and thousands on RCA cables that are held inches over the floor on little vibration dampening feet to make sure the rocks don't jiggle; and you've got the ones that go full retard on enclosures, turning entire basements into speaker boxes tuned super low in case they need to commune with whales or want low flying aircraft to feel the bass too.
