/diy/ - Do It Yourself

I lurk on this board in the hopes of picking a few things up because I never had a father figure to teach me how to do things. Reconnecting with me grandpa and having him teach me to replace my own calipers and rotors was a big step. I'm going to ask him to teach me to paint my car next. I'm not taking advantage of him or anything either, I always give him several hours of manual labor help around the house since he's getting old. I just wish I knew how to do basic /diy/ stuff. But at least I'm trying to learn right?
